What I’ve Been Up To… A Quick Recap {Flower Mound Photographer}

My poor pretty little website is getting some cobwebs.  The blog has decidedly been the VERY last thing on my list of to-do’s, and it shows.  This fall has been amazing.  Amazingly fun, amazingly whirlwind, and amazingly crazy.  I’ve been up to so many things, but I’ll let my pictures do the talking….

Clients.  Man am I lucky.  I have the sweetest clients – so many familiar faces and many new ones too.  The past few weeks have been filled with capturing so many joyous and happy moments of families.  I could never consider this a job. Family photography is my passion.

Blog Writing.  Did you know that I am now a regular blog contributor for Light Inspired?  I couldn’t be more excited to share tips, inspirational images, and “behind the scenes” info!  For instance, if you follow me on Instagram you probably know about my LOVE for my GoPro.  For a trip to the swimming pool, it is fantastic!  Be sure to check out my very first Light Inspired article on using your GoPro for underwater images!

Clickaway! This deserves an entire blog post, but to be honest I am not even done processing all that I learned.  If you aren’t a photographer, Clickaway is a photography conference that was held in San Antonio this year.  I learned until my brain hurt, I laughed harder than I have in a LONG time, I caught up with old friends and made so many new ones, I fed my creative soul, and came home ready to tackle my busiest fall season yet.  It was incredible.  These are a few images from some separate shooting sessions I did while in San Antonio.

Boomer Sooner.  We took our son to his very first college football game!  Sooners won!! I always love going back home – it’s good to be with family and friends in my old stomping grounds.

Did someone say BEACH TRIP?  Yes, yes, yes.  Our family had a quick getaway to the beach and it was beyond incredible.  We made some of the best memories ever with our children.  I now vote for a quick Galveston getaway trip to be mandatory every year.  Maybe even twice.

I think our trip DEFINITELY deserves a post of it’s own, but here are a couple favorites:

That about covers it.  Busy, busy, busy.  All good things.  All things that I am very blessed to have in my life.
